I often wondered how mummy always caught me, how she knew me more than I knew myself, my next move or my every thought. As I was only little I only wondered and never understood and didn’t even have the understanding to understand. Today when I am a grown up woman and a mummy myself I know what’s the magic, there’s absolutely no explanation and no thought required.
IT’S ALL IN THE ROLE
What a wonderful mechanism nature has fit within us that ignites the magical intuition that every mother senses for her child.
When milk would leak from my breast.....
I knew he was hungry
When he would whine....
I knew he needed me
When he would hide at play .....
I knew where he would be
When he would lie....
I knew the truth
When he laughs.....
I know he feels secure
When he is unwell....
I know he is fighting to fit himself in the world
When he is happy....
I know he has done well for himself
When he is low....
I know he is facing the challenge of rejection
When he comes besides me n sits.....
I know I belong in his world.
I no more wonder I am only amazed with the power every mother experiences while playing this role. No one just no one I sense such strong intuition for, this cannot be learnt or taught.
IT IS HOW IT IS!
